Bishop Michael Eugene Ford, Sr., is the Senior Pastor of Christ Temple Christian Life Center, Louisville, KY, where he has served for the past 28 years. Bishop Ford also serves as the Assistant Presiding Bishop of the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith Association, International (PCAF), and is the Diocesan Bishop of the 22nd Episcopal District (state of Kentucky) and the “Military Dioceses” of the PCAF.
Bishop Ford is dedicated to positive efforts related to education, eradication and treatment of community embedded substance abuse. In 1991, he received the highest civilian award the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is authorized to extend.
Bishop Ford is a Vietnam veteran, and earned his undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Spalding University in Louisville, KY. He went on to earn his Masters of Religion (Cum laude) with a specialization in theology and methodologies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Virginia. He also holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Oral Roberts School of Missions and Theology.
Bishop Ford serves as the President of the Kentucky Pastors In Action Coalition (K-PAC), a group of faith-based leaders that advocate for charter schools, parental choice and awareness regarding the perils of “human trafficking” in the African American Community. Bishop Ford and his wife, Wanda, have been married for 48 years, and have five children and nineteen grandchildren.
